FANWOOD POLICE LIEUTENANT DAN KRANZ GRADUATES FROM FBI NATIONAL ACADEMY
On December 12,
2024, Borough of Fanwood Police Lieutenant Dan Kranz proudly graduated from the
FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Lieutenant Kranz was a member of the 292nd
session of the 11-week FBI National Academy, which consisted of men and women from
48 states, the District of Columbia, and Guam. The class included members of
law enforcement agencies from 27 countries, eight military organizations, and
five federal civilian organizations. FBI Director Christopher Wray delivered
remarks at the ceremony.
Lieutenant
Kran'z graduation is not only a personal milestone but also a significant
achievement for the Fanwood Police Department, as he becomes the first in the
department’s history to attend this prestigious program.
The National Academy’s selection process is not just about professional accomplishments; it’s about identifying individuals who possess the leadership traits necessary to influence and lead in a rapidly changing law enforcement environment. The goal is to ensure that those who attend the academy will return to their departments with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively lead, adapt to new challenges, and drive positive change.
As Lieutenant Kranz returns to his duties with the Fanwood Police Department, his newly acquired skills and experiences will undoubtedly benefit both the department and the residents of Fanwood.
